قصة نهاية الجشع
In one of the villages there was a peasant husband and his wife, they worked hard and diligently, and every day they saw the fruits of their labor.
في إحدى القرى كان هناك زوج فلاح وزوجته ، كانا يعملان بجد واجتهاد ، وفي كل يوم يرون ثمار عملهم.
And one day they noticed a very beautiful golden chicken, they took good care of it, and when the golden chicken grew up, every day she laid a golden egg for them.
وذات يوم لاحظوا دجاجة ذهبية جميلة جدًا ، فقد اهتموا بها جيدًا ، وعندما كبرت الدجاجة الذهبية ، كانت تضع لهم بيضة ذهبية كل يوم.
The couple were astonished by this treasure, and every day they looked at the golden egg to sell it and pay off the debts that had inundated them.
ذهل الزوجان من هذا الكنز ، وكانا ينظران كل يوم إلى البيضة الذهبية لبيعها وسداد الديون التي أغرقتهما.
But one day the husband decided to slaughter the chicken, take out the treasure in her stomach at once, sell it and become rich.
Despite all his wife’s miserable attempts to stop him from doing what he intended to do, they all failed miserably.
ولكن في يوم من الأيام قرر الزوج أن يذبح الدجاجة ويخرج الكنز الموجود في بطنها دفعة واحدة ويبيعه ويصبح ثريًا.
على الرغم من كل محاولات زوجته البائسة لمنعه من فعل ما كان ينوي القيام به ، إلا أنها فشلت فشلاً ذريعًا.
He brought back the sharp knife and grabbed the poor chicken, and slashed its stomach in half, but unfortunately he only found blood and entrails in it.
أعاد السكين الحادة وأمسك بالدجاجة المسكينة ، وشق بطنها إلى نصفين ، لكنه للأسف لم يجد فيه سوى الدم والأمعاء.
He regretted the most and cried blood instead of tears, and his wife said to him with bitter sadness: “Your greed deprived us of a stable daily sustenance, which would have sufficed us from everything.”
ندم كثيرا وبكى دما عوضا عن دموع ، فقالت له زوجته بحزن مرير: “طمعك حرمنا من رزق يومي ثابت يكفينا من كل شيء”.
العبرة من القصــــــــــــة:
يقال دوما أن الطمع دائما وأبدا يقل ما جمع.
وعلى الإنسان منا أن يتحلى بالقناعة، وأن ما عند الله سبحانه وتعالى باقيا.
The moral of the story:
It is always said that greed is always and never less than what is collected.
And one of us must have conviction, and that what God Almighty has will remain.
