إذ تسمح اللغة الثانية للطفل بأن يحصل على كم آخر من المعلومات الجديدة.
كما أنها تسمح له بأن يثري عقله بالمعرفة، فكونه قادرا على استيعاب اللغة العربية والإنجليزية معاً، فإنه حينها سيكون قادرا على فهم واستيعاب الكثير من الأمور الأخرى بالحياة من صغر سنه وحتى كبره.

The second language allows the child to get another amount of new information
It also allows him to enrich his mind with knowledge, being able to absorb both Arabic and English, then he will be able to understand and assimilate many other things in life from his young age to his old age.
القصــــة الأولى:

The day of Eid is approaching, and everyone is preparing to receive it, and there was a mother holding her daughter’s hand and touring the markets, and she walked a lot until she reached the place she thought was appropriate.
لقد اقترب يوم العيد، والجميع يستعد لاستقباله، وكانت هناك أم تمسك بيد ابنتها وتتجول بالسوق.
لقد تمشت كثيرا حتى تمكنت من الوصول للمكان الذي اعتقدت أنه مناسب.
The mother entered with her daughter in her hand, who was wandering with her innocent eyes all over the place.
لقد دخلت الأم وابنتها التي بيدها، والتي كانت تشخص بعينيها البريئتين بالمكان بأكمله.
The saleswoman presented them with a beautiful smile: “How can I help you, madam?”
استقبلتهما البائعة بالمحل بابتسامة جميلة، وسألتهما: “كيف يمكنني مساعدتكما؟!”
The mother replied, “I want a suitable dress for my daughter.”
أجابت عليه الأم: “إنني أريد ثوبا مناسبا لابنتي”.
Salesperson: “We have suitable dresses in all colors.”
البائعة: “إننا لدينا أثواب مناسبة بجميع الألوان”.
So the mother asked her daughter, “What color do you prefer, my little girl?”
لذا سألأت الأم ابنتها: “أي لون تفضلين ابنتي الصغيرة؟”
“I want a red dress, Mom,” said the daughter, overjoyed.
قالت الابنة لوالدتهيا بسعادة بالغة: “أريد الثوب الأحمر يا أمي”.
And after the saleswoman brought the dress, which was suitable, and very beautiful, the young daughter said: “I want another pink dress.”
وبعدما أحضرت البائعة بالمحل الثوب، والذي كان مناسبا وغاية في الجمال، قالت الابنة الصغيرة: “أريد ثوبا آخر وردي اللون”.
“We will only take one dress,” said the mother wearily.
قالت الأم بحسم: “سنأخذ ثوبا واحدا لا غير”.
“Please, Mom,” said the daughter, “I want another dress.”
قالت الابنة لوالدها: “أرجوكِ يا أمي أريد ثوبا آخر”.
The mother said: “The conversation is over. One garment and you have chosen its color. Prepare this garment for us.”
قالت الأم: “لقد انتهت المحادثة بيننا، ثوب واحد ليس أكثر وقد اخترت لونه”
“جهزي لنا هذا الثوب”.
The daughter said, with tears in her eyes: “Please, mother, I beg you. My friend Sarah, her father has passed away, and her mother is poor and will not be able to buy the Eid dress for her, and she loves the color pink.”
الابنة والدموع في عينيها قالت: “أرجوكِ يا أمي أتوسل إليكِ يا أمي، صديقتي سارة فقدت والدها ووالدتها امرأة فقيرة، لذا فإنها لن تكون قادرة على شراء ثوب العيد لابنتها، وسارة تحب اللون الوردي”.
The mother and the seller were affected by the talk of the young daughter, so the mother asked the seller to prepare another dress with the same specifications except for the color.
لقد أصبحت الأم والبائعة متأثرتان للغاية بحديث الابنة الصغيرة، لذا طلبت الأم من البائعة أن تحضر ثوب آخر بنفس الجودة للثوب الأول تماما، ولكن يختلف اللون وحسب.
The mother paid the money, and she had to sacrifice some things with Razia’s soul, for she learned a beautiful lesson from her little daughter.
دفعت الأم الأموال، وكان عليها أن تتنازل عن بعض الأشياء بروح راضية حيث أنها تعلمت درسا جميلا من ابنتها الصغرى.
As for “Bushra”, the young daughter, she took her friend’s dress and went to her to make her happy with the coming of Eid, and she invited her to play with her after completing the Eid prayer.
أما بالنسبة لشرى الابنة الصغيرة، فقد أخذت ثوب صديقتها وذهبت إليها لتصنع لها مفاجأة بقدوم العيد.
ودعتها للعب معها بعد الانتهاء من صلاة العيد.

القصـــــة الثانيـــــة:
The story of the deceitful farmer and the well
قصـــــــــــــة الفلاح المخادع والبئر
It is mentioned that at one time, there was a farmer who had offered the well on his land for sale.
يذكر أنه في وقت ما كان هناك مزارعا عرض البئر التي بأرضه للبيع.
So his neighbor bought it from him for a lot of money which the farmer asked him for, and when the next day came the neighbor went to his well which he just bought to take some of his water
لذلك فاشتراها جاره وأعطاه الكثير من الأموال، والتي كان قد طلبها منه المزارع؛ وعندما جاء اليوم التالي توجه الجار للبئر الذي اشتراها لتوه من المزارع ليأخذ بعضا من مياهه.
The farmer objected and refused to give him one drop of water. The neighbor was amazed at the poor treatment of the farmer, and he made a lot of effort to convince him that water was an integral part of the well he had bought from him.
ولكن المزارع اعترض ورفض رفضا قاطعا أن يعطيه نقطة واحدة من المياه.
كان الجار في حالة من الاندهاش من المعاملة السيئة من المزارع، لقد بذل الجار الكثير من الجهد والمستحيل ليقنعه بأن الماء جزء لا يتجزأ من البئر الذي باعه إياه.
But the farmer turned out to be deceitful and cunning, he refused all attempts by the neighbor to persuade him, and in the end, when the neighbor’s condition became upset, he went and lodged his complaint with the judge.
ولكن المزارع تبين أنه مخادع وماكر، لقد رفض كافة محاولات الجار لإقناعه.
وفي النهاية أصيب الجار بالضيق في صدره، فذهب للقاضي وقدم شكواه.
The neighbor told the whole story to the judge, so the judge immediately sent for the fraudulent farmer’s request to hear his story as well.
سرد الجار قصته كاملة للقاضي، لذا وعلى الفور أرسل القاضي في طلب المزارع ليسمع قصته أيضا.
When the deceitful farmer came, the judge asked him about his opinion of the complaint filed against him. The farmer said: “I sold him the well with my land, but I did not sell him the water inside the well, it is not his right.”
وعندما أتى المزارع المخادع، سأله القاضي عن رأيه بالنسبة للشكوى المقدمة ضده.
قال المزارع: “لقد بعته البئر الذي بأرضي ولكني لم أبعه الماء الذي بداخله، فالماء ليس من حقه”.
And when the judge despaired of talking to him, he commanded him, saying sharply: “Then get all your water out of the well.”
وعندما فاض بالقاضي من الحديث معه، أمره بصرامة قائلا: “إذا أخرج كل مياهك من البئر”!
The deceitful farmer was shocked by the judge’s order, and was convinced that bad deception only befall his family, so he gave his neighbor the well with water.
لقد صدم المزارع المخادع من أمر القاضي، وأيقن أخيرا أن المكر السيء لا يحيق إلا بأهله، لذا فإنه قد أعطى جاره البئر بمائه.
